Dry as a bone!

For those of you who don' t live in Colorado, it is very dry here. I think this has been one of the driest March's on record. So if you are looking for something to pray for, add some snow or rain in Colorado to the list.

I also have it on good authority that if you sing "Once there was a snowman" every day, it helps. So start singing.

Tomorrow I head back out on the road, with a trip to Kansas City, and then one to Salt Lake later this week. Marta is going to Salt Lake with me. Hopefully that will be fun.

Sucked in by the Wii

So yes, we finally broke down and bought a Wii video game system...We plan to get the Wii fit, which justifies our having the system since it will, in theory, make us healthier.  I suspect, however, that this is merely an excuse for us to get the darn thing since it is so much fun.

Last night we had friends over for a "tournament".   Scott and Marta"smoked" everyone.  Lots of fun for everyone.

Tony's wedding

Here are a few pictures from the wedding.  It was hard to get many shots of Tony and Jenna since I was in so many pictures with them!

How Cute is this!

Marta has always dreamed of being a biker-babe.  Here she is trying out her stuff on a tricked out machine.

Sunday and we are alone again.

All of the children are back in school, and we are alone again.  Back in the big house with just the two of us.

Of course the countdown to the wedding is still on, which means that our lives are still frantic.  Andrew starts his new job tomorrow.  I, of course, am still stuck with the same old one.  This week we will be working hard to get the house cleaned up and spruced up before Marta heads off to Utah, where she will stay until the wedding.

The Storm before the wedding

The wedding is only 2 weeks away (actually only 13 days), and so our home is a whirlwind of activity as we try to get everything ready. Marta is busy getting the house ready for all of the wedding guests.

We keep telling her to slow down and "relax"! This is supposed to be a time of great joy, not great anxiety, but she is still very worried about getting it all done.

Oh well, in just a few weeks it will be behind us. Remember the wedding and reception in Utah is on January 16th and the Open House in Colorado (our house) will be the 24th. Come and have a great time.
